Professor Richard Schilling London AF Centre

Atrial Fibrillation Treatment Results

“Patients want to know what the risks and benefits of ablation are. Because of the size of my practice and the length of time I have been performing ablation I am able to answer most common questions about my procedure outcomes based on real data. I regularly audit my practice. I use these data to relentlessly strive to improve our outcomes.

My primary focus is having the lowest possible complications and the best safety record. My secondary aims are to produce second to none clinical outcomes and excellent patient experience.

We have already used the results of our audits to change some elements of our practice because we are believers in the principle of “aggregation of marginal gains and that small improvements in a number of different aspects of what we do can have a huge impact on the overall performance of the team”.

I present the data in the form of answers to commonly asked questions. I do hope you find this helpful. Please don’t hesitate to come and talk to us about your AF and how we can help you”.
